AEBSF targets trypsin, chymotrypsin, plasmin, kallikrein, and thrombin, inhibiting enzyme activity via acylation of the active site. Safe for use in cell culture up to 0.25mM, its aqueous solutions remain stable within pH 5-6, with limited stability beyond pH 7.5.

• as a protease inhibitor in plasma samples to prevent acylated ghrelin (AG) degradation

• as a component in NP-40 lysis buffer to resuspend cell pellets for preparing cell lysates

Recommended concentrations for use are 0.1-1 mM.
