With stereo microscopes, choosing the right lighting is essential to obtain a perfect image with maximum resolution. Halogen is the traditional light source choice due to its high light intensity. LED lighting comes close to this, but has a longer lifespan, consumes less power and becomes less warm. The biggest advantage of LED lighting is the constant light spectrum at any level of light intensity. The Euromex light sources are suitable for all applications in industry, life sciences and material sciences.

• LE.5211 is equipped with a 150 W halogen lamp with color temperature 3,000 K
• The LE.5211-LED is equipped with a 30 W PowerLED (brightness is comparable to 120 W halogen), color temperature 6500 K
• LED lighting has a long lifespan, consumes less power and produces white daylight .
• Furthermore, there is no difference in color temperature when the lighting is dimmed (for LED models)
