Valve housing made of PP with threaded connection (UNF ¹/₄″ 28G) suitable for b.safe HPLC screw caps. Lid with ventilation opening and Luer-Lock fitting, integrated non-return valve with upstream membrane made of porous PTFE (1 μm). Includes attachable change indicator.

Application:
The b.safe venting valve is specially adapted to the volume flow in HPLC. The integrated non-return valve prevents evaporation of solvents and allows ambient air to flow into the bottle if there is a vacuum. The upstream membrane made of porous PTFE keeps out dirt particles and other contaminations from outside. The clip-on change indicator enables six-month monitoring of service life: Activate the change indicator by pressing the button and replace the valve when the display is completely red.
