The well-equipped bScope microscopes are intensively used in secondary and university education, in small and medium-sized laboratories. They are also used daily by veterinarians. Apart from the excellent ergonomics, these robust and attractively priced microscopes are available in various configurations with HWF 10x/20 mm eyepieces and objectives for bright field, dark field and phase contrast. The design of the bScope is ergonomic and evolutionary. The height-adjustable eyepieces and low-mounted focus adjustment knobs reduce fatigue during long microscopy sessions, increasing user comfort. The robust and compact dimensions of the bScope, together with the cable storage system, reduce the required work space, increase safety and simplify storage.

DARK FIELD CONDENSER
A state-of-the-art condenser equipped with reflective cardioid mirrors, with an integrated powerful 5 W LED light source. Together with an S100x lens with built-in iris diaphragm, this forms a 1000x magnifying dark-field solution. The power supply for the 5 W LED light source is built into the microscope. The dark-field condenser can easily be replaced by a bright-field condenser, which is also included.

The BS.1153-EPL/DF is equipped with a dark-field oil immersion cardioid mirror condenser with integrated 5 W LED lighting and a plan PL S100x oil immersion objective with built-in iris

Height-adjustable 1.25 NA simple phase contrast condenser with slot for 10/S40x phase contrast rings and/or 20/S100 phase contrast rings in sled and associated phase contrast objectives. Choice of E-plan phase, EPLi E-plan phase IOS infinity-corrected or PLi Plan phase IOS infinity-corrected 10/20/S40x and S100x oil immersion objectives. Supplied with alignment telescope and green filter. The condenser also has a position for bright field contrast and a built-in iris diaphragm and filter holder

The bScope has a slot above the turret for an optional polarizing filter
ILLUMINATION
Adjustable Köhler 3 W diascopic NeoLED lighting with internal 100-240 V power supply. Rechargeable batteries are also available as an option.
NEOLED™ LIGHTING
The innovative design of the 3W NeoLED results in a larger aperture so that the bScope's optical system can generate images with higher resolutions. These are then very close to the theoretical diffraction limits of the optics. Other advantages of NeoLED are low energy consumption, lower heat development and a long lifespan
KÖHLER LIGHTING
The Köhler lighting of the bScope models with infinity-corrected IOS plan objectives ensures a better contrast and maximum achievable resolution. The Köhler lighting ensures uniform illumination of the sample. For other models, Köhler lighting is also available on request

CAMERA
The digital bScope microscopes are equipped with a 5.0 MP 1/2.5 inch CMOS USB-2.0 camera, 24 bit color depth, 7 frames per second (2592 x 1944 pixels) or 27 frames per second (1280 x 960 pixels). Dynamic range is 76 dB and the signal-to-noise ratio is 41 dB. Supplied with ImageFocus Alpha software, USB-2.0 cable and a micrometer 1mm/100 calibration glass
SOFTWARE
The photography and analysis software ImageFocus Alpha makes it possible to save images in .jpg, .tif, .bmp or .dicom as .avi videos. Measurements and notes can be made on both live images and stored images. Compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10, both 32 and 64 bit computers. A Mac OS version is also available. Free updates can be downloaded from our website
