The well-equipped bScope microscopes are intensively used in secondary and university education, in small and medium-sized laboratories. They are also used daily by veterinarians. Apart from the excellent ergonomics, these robust and attractively priced microscopes are available in various configurations with HWF 10x/20 mm eyepieces and objectives for bright field, dark field and phase contrast. The design of the bScope is ergonomic and evolutionary. The height-adjustable eyepieces and low-mounted focus adjustment knobs reduce fatigue during long microscopy sessions, increasing user comfort. The robust and compact dimensions of the bScope, together with the cable storage system, reduce the required work space, increase safety and simplify storage.

OCULAR(S )

Wide-angle plan HWF 10x/20 mm secured eyepieces with 20 mm field of view. The eyepiece of the monocular models is equipped with a pointing needle

HEAD

• The bScope is equipped with a monocular head (at an angle of 45°, Ø 23.2 mm tube) or a Siedentopf type 360° rotating head with 30° inclined tube (Ø 23.2 mm)
• The binocular and trinocular models have a ± 5 diopter adjustment on the left eyepiece
• Adjustable eye relief between 48 and 76 mm
• The models with plan infinity corrected PLi objectives have a unique rotatable system of the eyepiece tubes for ergonomic positioning of both tubes in a high (431 mm) and in a low position (377 mm)
• The trinocular head is supplied with a Ø 23.2 mm tube, which ensures maximum flexibility and has a fixed light path beam splitter (20:80) and generates an upright image

OBJECTIVES 45 MM PARFOCAL
Thanks to today's modern manufacturing techniques and multi-layered anti -reflection coatings used in the production of the bScope lenses, the bScope can be used for demanding applications

First-class aberration correction techniques and modern CNC and assembly technology ensure the perfect alignment of the various lenses of the objectives

• Bright field models: E-Plan, Plan, E-plan IOS infinity-corrected, Plan IOS infinity-corrected 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 20x/0 .40, S40x/0.65, S60x/0.85 and S100x/1.25 oil immersion objectives
• Phase contrast models: E-plan phase, E-plan phase IOS infinity-corrected, Plan phase IOS infinity-corrected 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, S40x/0.65 and S100x/1.25 oil immersion objectives
• Darkfield model: E-plan 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25 , 20x/0.40, S40x/0.65, S60x/0.85 objectives. The S100x/1.25 oil immersion lens has a built-in iris diaphragm

All lenses are treated against mold and have an anti-reflection coating for maximum light output

FOCUS CONTROL

Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment knobs, 180 divisions, 1 ,1 μm per division, 200 μm per rotation, total range of approximately 19 mm. Supplied with adjustable specimen protection to prevent damage to the objectives and the specimen and anti-skid control on the coarse adjustment

• The bScope is equipped with a scratch-resistant 152/197 x 131 mm table and a "rackless" integrated 75 x 36 mm XY cross table, Vernier and removable object clamps
• The "rackless" cross table has no protruding parts. This promotes safer working and smoother movements. Low-positioned XY adjustment knobs significantly reduce operator fatigue during long microscopy sessions. The bScope is also available with a heated table - the temperature of which can be set up to 50° Celsius - and a PID temperature controller. Only available together with new microscopes. Higher temperatures can be set upon special request

DARK FIELD CONDENSER
A state-of-the-art condenser equipped with reflective cardioid mirrors, with an integrated powerful 5 W LED light source. Together with an S100x lens with built-in iris diaphragm, this forms a 1000x magnifying dark-field solution. The power supply for the 5 W LED light source is built into the microscope. The dark-field condenser can easily be replaced by a bright-field condenser, which is also included.

DARK-FIELD EQUIPMENT
The BS.1153-EPL/DF is equipped with a dark-field oil immersion cardioid mirror condenser with integrated 5 W LED lighting and a plan PL S100x oil immersion objective with built-in iris

ZERNIKE CONDENSER FOR PHASE CONTRAST
Height-adjustable phase contrast 1.25 NA Zernike disk condenser with phase contrast rings and E- plan phase, E-plan phase IOS infinity corrected or Plan phase IOS infinity corrected 10/20/S40x and S100x oil immersion objectives. With Abbe condenser for bright field with filter holder and iris diaphragm. Supplied with an alignment telescope and green filter

CONDENSER WITH SLOT FOR PHASE CONTRAST
Height-adjustable 1.25 NA simple phase contrast condenser with slot for 10/S40x phase contrast rings and/or 20/S100 phase contrast rings in sled and associated phase contrast objectives. Choice of E-plan phase, EPLi E-plan phase IOS infinity-corrected or PLi Plan phase IOS infinity-corrected 10/20/S40x and S100x oil immersion objectives. Supplied with alignment telescope and green filter. The condenser also has a position for bright field contrast and a built-in iris diaphragm and filter holder

POLARIZATION DEVICE
The bScope has a slot above the turret for an optional polarizing filter

ILLUMINATION

Adjustable Köhler 3 W diascopic NeoLED lighting with internal 100-240 V power supply. Rechargeable batteries are also available as an option.

NEOLED™ LIGHTING
The innovative design of the 3W NeoLED results in a larger aperture so that the bScope's optical system can generate images with higher resolutions. These are then very close to the theoretical diffraction limits of the optics. Other advantages of NeoLED are low energy consumption, lower heat development and a long lifespan

KÖHLER LIGHTING
The Köhler lighting of the bScope models with infinity-corrected IOS plan objectives ensures a better contrast and maximum achievable resolution. The Köhler lighting ensures uniform illumination of the sample. For other models, Köhler lighting is also available on request

SOFTWARE
The photography and analysis software ImageFocus Alpha makes it possible to save images in .jpg, .tif, .bmp or .dicom as .avi videos. Measurements and notes can be made on both live images and stored images. Compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10, both 32 and 64 bit computers. A Mac OS version is also available.
